When I think of most of the hip hop / rap performances I see I think of the most boring unprofessional 5-10 minutes ever. With most acts doing the same old 2 step, holding their lower levels, or with 20 people on stage yelling nonstop nonsense, through the mic while not knowing the words to the song, there are artist that bring a breathe a fresh air to culture. Ne Ne Goon, who has been performing for less than a year, has put on a well thought out show each time I have seen her hit the stage, complete with dance intermissions, quality music, and music for the occasion. She brands her loyal fans with her logo’d shirts and after every show she comes prepared with more than enough mixtapes, flyers, and cds, to pass out the the public. 2 OF THE TOP 5 HIP HOP ARTIST IN THE GAME RIGHT NOW ARE TEAMING NEAR THE ARCH DECEMBER 2ND AT THE SCOTT TRADE CENTER. The last time Kanye West was in St.Louis was ages. But we all know the K-Dot (Kendrick Lamar) tore down the Chafeiz Arena.

High ticket sales and lack of people buying in to them have prompted a number of consistent lower than expected turn outs, postponements, & cancellations. Will the ticket price for this concert prompt the same same ending as others, or was everything else just not as hot as Kanye West & Kendrick Lamar.

Saturday November 16th St.Louis native Big Ham performs for the 1st time in his home town after a busy year consisting of at least 6 shows & a show October 26th in Cincinnati, Ohio with Mic Check Radio. You can catch Big Ham live 11-16 Studio 618 performing music from his 2 latest mix tapes “Love of Hip Hop” & “Hustle Vol. 1 Introduction of the Unheralded, as well as his up coming Ep co-produced by friend Jefferey Alicea.

Big Ham has been writing rap lyrics and poeitry since the age of 18 but only in 2009 did he start actually recording lyrics with friend Dante Thedford while the two were in afghanistan. Soul Rebel has continued to hone his craft recently putting out a mixtape titled Love of Hip Hop and Hustle Vol1 introduction of the unheralded. He is also working on a to be named EP with producer and friend Jeffrey Alicea.

@MISCDABOSS PHOTO FLEXING WITH @DRAKE ON THE SET OF DRAKE’S “WORST BEHAVIOR”

Rising Memphis Rap artist and current Dj on Hot 107.1  has been everywhere in this year, from touring with various members of Triple 6 Mafia, rocking the stage with future. His latest appearance so far is on the set of on of the set of one of hip hops newest elites “Drake” on the set of the YMCMB artist new video “Worst Behavior.”

When asked about the siting Miscellaneous stated that he has a great relationship with Drakes family among other things.  And with a trip to the A coming up soon is there possible talks of a deal on the table, or is it just a photo.

Which is follow up fashion to how they released the 1st project on March 14th (314).

More concert cancellations in St.Louis this time with Hip Hop Icons

Less then 2 weeks after a string of concerts were either postponed or cancelled in the Gateway to the West two more concerts were cancelled and in the fashion of the others, only days before the actual concert.

 

Thursday October 10th Wu Tang Favorite Raekwon was scheduled to rock the Coliseum only to be cancelled to my knowledge less than 24 hours before the concert was suppose to take place. With no real explanation. But, some believe it was ticket sales and lack of interest.

2 days later KRS 1 was suppose to bring real hip hop to the Mag Magician this concert was also cancelled less than 2 days out with no real reason.

More info on these cancellations will be given if / when / found.
