Springfield, Illinois Kick Cancer w/ the Coaltion Aug.-27th @ Iles Park

canThe Following message is from the Kick-It Coalition

CANCER is a disease that literally affects us all. We all have our own very personal experiences with this disease, through the loss of a loved one, supporting someone we’ve cared for through their fight
or are even battling this deadly disease ourselves. Cancer is defined as; the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells in the body. Cancer develops when the body’s normal control mechanism stops working.
Old cells do not die and cells grow out of control, forming new, abnormal cells. Statistics show that 50% of men and 33% of women WILL DEVELOP some form of this disease at some point in their lives*.
Cancer isn’t just an “adults-only” disease. It’s estimated that almost 16,000 people in the United States, under the age of 19, will be diagnosed annually**. While surivial rates have dramtically
increased in recent years our fight with this debilitating disease is far from over. Please stand with The Kick-It Coaliton and aid us in our fight against one of America’s deadliest diseases.
It’s time to #KickCancer!
