Back for the 3rd time, Poe Fest returns Sat. November 18th headlined by Ivy League scholar, activist, and internationally recognized hip hop artist Tef Poe, accompanied by hip hop legend Project Pat. The annual event now in its 3rd year features some familiar faces includeding Bates & T Dubb O, as well as artist from across the US including Jabee of Oklahoma City, & Rebel Diaz of New York City.

From the back pages of the XXL to the front line of the Ferguson protest, another moment to highlight in Tef Poe’s quest for rap stardom, after meeting the producer of many Wu-Tang classic singles, and albums, and considered to be the leader of the Wu Bobby Digital, bka RZA, during his time in St.Louis. Rza was on hand for an exhibit at the World Chess Hall of Fame dedicated to chess and hip hop, in which he was a special guest and speaker.
Tef was introduced to the iconic Wu member and was asked to deliver 8 bars on the spot & was ready seconds later, as I almost missed the opportunity to record a moment must rappers would dream for.
