None of who the “Best Rapper of St. Louis” matters. The reality of it all is this: Certain artists were given chances and they blew it. And as you so dubbed it…all the real life drama comes out after these awards. It is this type of behavior, that has COMPLETELY turned off major labels, and even large to larger Independent Labels. When artists in St. Louis learn to behave like artists, when they humble themselves, and stop trying to tear down the other, the black cloud that forever pervades the Hip Hop scene in St. Louis may just begin to dissipate. But until that time, to be straight forward and honest…no one’s getting out.

I agree. I’ve said this for awhile, St. Louis artist kill their own opportunities. St. Louis as a whole should have a stronger presence in Hip-Hop then they do. The artist are not united and without unity…there is no movement, and you don’t think the industry sees this? Another issue for St. Louis Artist ( with the exception of a few) is material content. They are too ” One Dimensional”. If all you hear on every song is something pertaining to St. Louis, you will never be able to be more than a St. Louis artist….People from Chicago won’t be able to identify with you…try making music with a universal dialect.
